The Dubai Chamber of Commerce invites all NBC members to the Dubai Chamber Business Seminar: “Risks of Higher Inflation - Causes and Implications for the Local Economy”.
The seminar will cover recent geopolitical events that have posed new challenges for the global economy by exerting further upward pressures on commodity prices, causing renewed supply disruptions, and increasing uncertainty. The conflict in Ukraine is aggravating pre-existing headwinds for growth, which were previously expected to subside. This has led many central banks to revise their growth outlook downwards, and their forecasts for inflation upwards. This seminar will highlight the possible effects of higher inflation on Dubai and the UAE.
