We would like to invite all our members to join us at the annual Netherlands Business Council UAE (NBC) General Assembly (AGM), which will take place on Monday the 20th of March, from 7 PM onwards, at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai JBR.

Quorum requirements for the AGM
As per the NBC Articles of Association, an AGM shall be considered valid in the presence of at least a quarter (25%) of all registered Members. If this condition is not fulfilled, this meeting will be postponed immediately and will resume after half an hour with the continuing attendees to complete the session for the AGM and will be accepted. The second assembly shall be considered valid in all cases.

NBC Members wishing to attend the AGM should register through the NBC website or send an RSVP to office@nlbcuae.com, on or before the 17th of March 2023.

Pitch your company! 
In addition to all formalities that an AGM comprises, we would like to give you a chance to promote your business and services to all attendees, as we invite you to do an Elevator Pitch. 

Presenting yourself effectively is an essential tool in the business arena. A well-executed elevator pitch can make sales, help generate capital, and lead to valuable partnerships. The Netherlands Business Council UAE would like to give you the chance to practice this important skill that we consider essential to growing a business. Whether you're just starting out or already have a growing business, we offer you a unique opportunity to take your venture to the next level. After your Elevator Pitch, you will get your own table to receive and network with members with an interest in your services.

Eligibility 
In order to be eligible to participate in the NBC Elevator Pitches, you must be a member of the Netherlands Business Council UAE and be present during the General Assembly on the 20th of March. We have time for a limited number of pitches and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis from the pool of applicants. So, mark your calendars and get ready to join us for an evening of exciting pitches and networking opportunities. 

Each pitch must comply with the following:  

• No props or visual aids may be used (to create an authentic ‘elevator pitch’ environment) 
• Each pitch must be delivered by a single individual (no team pitches)  
• Each pitch should be no more than 2 minutes in length and in English 
• Pitches are not subject to any confidentiality obligation and all presentations will have an audience  
• Presentations can be videotaped and photographed for promotional purposes  
• Only one representative per company can participate
